Delicate Flower

A skinny card created for the CBH Challenge where the theme is Spring. I created the background using the wrinkle free Distress Technique with Dusty Concord & Faded Jeans inks. I then sponged over this randomly with Chalk ink in Thatched Straw. The Flower stamp was then stamped in Dusty Concord and the collage image applied. Finally, the text was stamped and sponged with the same inks, and a grungeboard letter attached to the bottom of the card. The letter was sponged with gesso, before the inks were added in order to lighten the colours.

That background is simply stunning - I've sat and admired it for ages. I smiled at the image you chose.
