When doing the Colour wash spray background, I found that cling film doesn't "cling" especially well to water, so I then tried another background using the same technique, but this time started with a layer of Golden Mat gel medium, before spritzing with water & colour wash sprays. I found the ridges and patterns created by the cling film much more prominent, though this did take ages to dry. The finish is sort of waxy, and reminds me of encaustic art.
