SKINNY SATURDAY - DIPTYCH

Created for the Skinny Saturday Challenge. The theme is Diptych. I used cream card stock, sponged with Versa Magic Pretty Petunia, then over stamped with the same colour to create a background, then over stamped with Perfect Plumeria. All stamps by Oxford Impressions.

SS TONE ON TONE

Created for the Saturday Stampers Challenge. This week's theme is tone on tone. Background paper was sponged with Brushed Corduroy Distress Ink, a collage image added in similar colours, and a torn edge paper was also coloured with the Distress ink. Whole thing mounted onto Bazill Card stock. Stamp by Stampers Anonymous.

WS Chairs Challenge


Created for the Wednesday Stampers challenge. This weeks them is Chairs. This is a 4 x 4" page. The background was made by sponging Adirondack inks in Butterscotch & Eggplant onto white cardstock, then using sequin mesh as a stencil to sponge on more ink in the same colours. The chair stamp is by Paperbag Studios.

Gothic Arch Challenge #2

This is my second challenge piece for Gothic Arch Sunday. I started by swiping gesso over white card stock with an old credit card. Next, I applied Dusty Concord Distress ink and over stamped with a text background (stampin Up). I layered an old book page on top of this that was painted with a layer of dilute gesso, and then inked with Shabby Shutters and Peeled Paint Distress inks. Text by stamped at the based (Limited Edition) and a slide mount added in matching colours. Image inside the slide is by Zettiology.

Gothic Arch


Created for Gothic Arch Sunday, text challenge. Arch uses cream cardstock, sponged with Versa Magic Chalk inks in Pink Grapefruit and Red Brick. PaperArtsy alphabet texts were then stamped onto the background using the same colours. The black stamped images are by Oxford Impressions.

Slide Mount Book






















Made for a swap on CC group. Each slide mount was inked with Versamagic chalk inks in Pretty Petunia & Purple Hydrangea, then overstamped with a script (Stampin Up) in Royal Purple StazOn. The images are from the Tuscan Rose CDs and were printed onto transparency paper.

SS Tag

Gesso applied randomly to a manilla tag. Cahlk inks applied in mango madness and Pink grapefruit. background stamped in the same colours, then overstamped with black images. Stamps by PaperArtsy and Zettiology.

Faux Cloisonne Pendants

Coat a tag shape in 3 layers of black UTEE, when cool, apply Perfect Pearls or Peral Ex to the surface, reheat until colours melt in, then stamp over in gold ink - I used Brilliance Galazy Gold.

Winter Mini ATC's

A set of mini ATC's measuring 1.5" x 2.5" for a swap on CC group. I started with canvas paper, and added a thick layer of gesso to the centre. This was painted over with H2o's and Pearl Ex Palette paints. The edges of the raided gesso was highlighted with gold krylon, and snowflakes stamped onto them. The snowflake embellishments were made from air drying clay, painted with Lumieres.

Made for a bead swap on CC group. Made from polymer clay to create a faux stone look.

Formica Pendant

Formica tag textured with gesso, then painted with black acrylic, and then a layer of Iron Oxide. Perfect Pearls added to the top, and edged with gold Krylon. The pattern centre piece was made black from polymer clay which was stamped into, then coloured with perfect pearls. and attached with gold beading wire.

Wonderland

Another card using the challenge image. The image was tinted sepia and printed onto a tranparency. The background was made using glossy card. A stamp of spots / snow was stamped using VersaMark, then distress inks were applied to a craft mat (tea dye, vintage photo & a little Walnut Stain). These were spritzed with water and the VersaMarked card laid onto it face down. This was then dried off with a heat gun, and Antique linen was applied DTP over the whole thing. The text was created from stickers.

Image Challenge

This ATC was created for the November image challenge on Next generation Stampers. The background is Lumieres painted onto a paper towel, this was stamped onto in black using a flourish stamp from TTS. The text (by Limited Edition) is stamped onto clear shrink plastic, and edged in gold.

Stampbord Bracelet

Created by sponging various inks onto Stampbord squares, then stamping over the ink in black, and edging in black. The stamp is from a PaperArtsy plate. Holes were punched into each tile and then each piece was coated in 3 layers of Clear UTEE. Jump rings and fastening added.

Dream ATC

This ATC was made for a Stampers Anonymous Swap on Creative Cards group. The circular dream image was stamped onto white mulberry paper using VersaMark ink, and clear embossed. The mulberry was then spritzed with water, and Ranger Colour Washes in Butterscotch, Denim and Cranberry. The piece was then turned over and ironed onto copier paper to remove the embossing powder. The dream text was stamped in Archival Jet black, and a metal embellishment added to the bottom right.

Christmas ATC Swap

Made for a swap on Katy's Corner Group. The background was made using a torn book page, painted with dilute gesso to soften the words, then coloured with distress inks in vintage photo, and walnut stain. The angel image, Stamp Camp, was stamped using Staz On Timber Brown. The berries border, Stampington, was stamped in Archival Maroon. The letters, PaperArtsy, were also stamped in Archival, onto a distress inked piece of paper, cut out and then spritzed with Glitz Sprtz in Radient Red Russet.

Shrink Plastic


I made these for a challenge on the TTS group. The first is a keyring, made from sanded clear shrink plastic, and coloured with chalks. The second is a pendant made from frosted shrink plastic, and again coloured using chalks. Both pieces use TTS stamps and are outlined with gold Krylon.
